does that thing even exist? i'm pretty happy with the way my life has gone so far, but still it feels weird to say that i'm going to be 25 in exactly 13 minutes from now

First off, happy birthday. Second, yeah, I think everyone can go through times where they are not really sure what is going on and why. You don't have to reach mid life to get that. But you will be fine. I have every confidence in you:)
